St Lawrence's Parish Hall next to the Quaker Meeting House in Winchester was the venue for the 2nd Healer Symposium which took place on Saturday 26th April 2014. Hosted by our Regional Training Officer, Annie Britt, the day provided an array of interesting talks and presentations. Whilst this event attracted fewer guests than last year, those who came agreed the day was both very informative as well as enjoyable. From my own perspective, I gained much insight into other therapies and modalities.
Cathy Gourlay from Tuckton started the day with an introduction and meditation to ensure we all were receptive to the synchronicities and energy that the day would bring. This was followed by a talk with demonstrations and audience participation from Jeremy Smallwood about chi gong then another from Jo Helesfay-Evans about illuminations and resonance re-patterning.
The beautiful music was provided by Cathy Stevens and Udo Dzierzanowski who travelled from Germany specially to be with us. Their music was accompanied with the sound of birds outside, with some of us thinking the bird song part of the music.
In the afternoon we were treated to another talk and demonstration, this time by Irene Lock on the topic of kinesiology. The afternoon concluded with animal healing from Lisa Benn and her lovely dog, Jasmine.
Everyone agreed it was an enjoyable day with appreciation and thanks to Annie and her husband Bill for all their hard work in making it possible.
It is hoped that such events will be supported more widely in the future as they are so informative and enjoyable to all of us like minded souls.

Jo Helesfay-Evans:
It was nice to meet such a lovely group of people on Saturday at your Healer Symposium.
The positive statements that they now resonate with, from the mini demo we did, are as follows:-
I leave space and time for inward reflection, greater depth in meditation, music and creativity. I make time for me and what I need. I hear what people do say AND what they don't say and I understand their truth. I communicate effectively.
Daily Empowerment Intention:-
Throughout the day I breathe through my nose slowly and gently, relaxing and letting go on each exhale.
(I smiled to myself as I typed up the daily empowerment intention as I realised that whilst concentrating on typing I was busy holding my breath :-) I hope that the participants notice their positive statement above, showing up and playing out in their lives and I hope the private problems that everyone came up with and shifted resonance on, also show up positively in their lives.
I wish everyone continued success & fulfilment with their respective journeys.
If anyone has any questions about muscle checking etc, do feel free to email me.
Good luck and peaceful serenity wished for the lady about to do her Panel.
My warmest wishes
